The DC Sports Y Pipe is a legit upgrade for your Nissan or Infiniti — more flow, better sound, and no weird fitment drama. This 2.5 inch-3 inch Y Pipe for 350Z/370Z and G/Z/Q chassis replaces the restrictive factory piece with a straight-through, mandrel-bent design that actually lets your VQ breathe.

We build this DC Sports Y Pipe from 2.5" stainless steel, mandrel bent so the tubing keeps its full diameter through every curve instead of necking down like stock. That means smoother, less turbulent flow and more power potential, especially if you’re already running an intake or tune. The entire stainless steel Y Pipe for 370Z / G35 / G37 / Q50 / Q60 is TIG welded for strength and long-term durability, so it can handle daily driving, track days, and winter roads without falling apart. The header/catalytic converter connection side is 2.5" inlets while the exit/merge is 3" meanign you get improved performance when combining this with your favorite aftermarket exhaust.
Bolt-on is straightforward. The DC Sports Y Pipe (SKU: NMS4201) bolts directly to your factory headers or DC Sports Headers (Part # NHC/NHS4201 and 4202). No cutting, no weird adapters, no “make it work” trips back to the exhaust shop.
We ditch the factory flex section, which does two big things for you:
- Improves ground clearance, so you’re less likely to smash it on speed bumps or steep driveways.
- Reduces common leak points where the factory flex starts to crack or separate over time.
